When I first discovered real estate investing in early 2017, I started searching for local REIAs, primarily through Meetup.com. That’s when I came across NTAREI and decided to attend their monthly General Meeting on a Thursday night. I initially planned to pay for just one meeting to see how it went. As I stood in line at the entrance, I took in the energy of the room, observing the interactions and the overall atmosphere. I immediately felt a sense of community and professionalism that resonated with me. By the time I reached the registration table, I had already made up my mind—I wasn’t just attending for the night. I signed up for an annual membership on the spot, and I haven’t regretted it for a single day. Over the years, I’ve attended meetings with other groups, many of which no longer exist. While some had their strengths, none have matched the consistency, value, and sense of belonging I’ve found at NTAREI. It remains my REI home.
