About the Trainer: Pete Tredwell completed his first flip in 2005. He became a full-time real estate investor in 2014, after being laid off from the corporate job which had brought him to North Texas in 2008. His professional background was in media/marketing, including 11 years at ESPN, highlighted by 2 Emmy Awards as a TV producer. He received his MBA from TCU, after completing his undergraduate work at Indiana University.
Pete currently owns and manages a dozen rental properties. He has done everything from wholesaling – to completing $100,000 rehabs, and, since 2016, he has purchased more than 40 single-family homes. At this point, he is doing more “pre-habbing” deals than anything else.
Pete believes that he has been able to build a successful REI business by expanding his tool belt and being flexible – accepting what the market gave him, instead of trying to force himself to do what the gurus say “will work in every market”.
