Investor, Tax Consultant, Enrolled Agent (IRS)
The rules of the game have changed in the past two years,
and it looks like they may be about to change some more
(in significantly ways for investors).
Eric Lee is an Enrolled Agent (EA – enrolled with the IRS). He owns and operates a tax accounting / consulting firm in McKinney, Texas – ProLine Tax Advisors. ProLine specializes in providing tax consulting and advisory services to real estate professionals, investors and small business owners.
Eric started his real estate career as a Realtor, and real estate investor, with Keller Williams Realty and Austin Executive Homes in 2006. During his real estate career he focused mostly on working with sellers and investors. In 2009, Eric started Allied Home Solutions which acted as a third-party loss mitigation service to negotiate short sales, subject-to transactions, owner-financing, and wholesaling to investors. In 2012, he left real estate as a full-time career and co-founded a CPA firm with a longtime friend in Austin, Texas.
Since moving his tax advisory practice to McKinney in 2014 he has focused mainly on asset protection strategies and entity formation consulting for small businesses and real estate professionals. ProLine Tax Advisors also specializes in IRS audit and appeals representation. Eric represents clients regularly at various administrative levels of the IRS including examinations, appeals, and collection hearings.
Eric Lee is also licensed as Investment Advisor with Guideline Capital Management in McKinney. He holds a Texas General Lines life and health license, two FINRA licenses Series 6 & 7, and two NASAA licenses Series 63 & 65. He is also recognized as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor by the College for Financial Planning.
