Kristin Gerst is the Managing Director with Capricorn Mortgage Investments. Capricorn Mortgage Investments buys high interest rate mortgages from small business owners and companies and sells them to large institutional buyers . Since 2017, Capricorn Mortgage Investments has bought and sold more than $26 million dollars in private owner finance mortgages.

Kristin has also been very active and successful in developing and hosting short-term rentals (AirBnB) for several years in the North Texas market. She has mastered the process and art of this business, and currently has a portfolio of several very popular and profitable properties.

Kristin was born in Paris, France, and raised in Chicago, IL. She is a graduate with BA and MA degrees from the University of North Texas. Kristin has been a Texan since 1996, and became a full-time real estate investor in January 2005. Kristin has originated 100’s of owner finance notes for her own portfolio as well as other investors.
