Please Come Meet Pete Tredwell
Pete Tredwell completed his first flip in 2005. He became a full-time real estate investor in 2014, after being laid off from the corporate job which had brought him to North Texas in 2008. He has been doing virtually all of his investing business since 2015 in a “Surrounding Market” , and found the way to significant success.
Pete’s professional background was in media/marketing, including 11 years at ESPN, highlighted by 2 Emmy Awards as a TV producer. He received his MBA from TCU, after completing his undergraduate work at Indiana University.
Pete currently owns and manages a dozen rental properties of his own. He has done everything in RE investing from wholesaling to completing $100,000 rehabs, and, in the past two years, he has purchased more than 50 single-family homes.
Pete believes that he has been able to build a successful REI business by expanding his tool belt of REI skills and by being flexible – that is, accepting what the market gives him, instead of trying to force himself to do the things that some ‘gurus’ try to tell him ‘will work in every market’.
