About the Trainer: James Hill is a nationally recognized expert in evaluating and improving distressed residential real estate. He has been the trainer for REO Agents and Asset Managers at one of the nation’s largest outsourcers of foreclosed home sales. He also speaks at real estate events across Texas.

For almost a decade James owned and operated a HomeFixers© franchise in North Texas, specializing in large scale home-rehabilitation projects. His company completed more than 150 extensive rehab projects, as well as performing more than 450 professional Rehab Cost Assessments (RCA©) for purchasers of distressed property. Annually, his company managed more than $7M in Assets for Real Estate Investors. Two years ago, James relocated from Dallas to Austin, where he is currently based.

With the help of his business partner and Bestselling-Author Rick Villani, James and Rick co-created a revolutionary repair cost assessment system for evaluating distressed property. That system was featured in Rick’s New York Times Bestselling Book, FLIP: How to Find, Fix and Sell Houses for Profit, and is now available to the public as an online software application.

James received his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Science. In addition to running his own remodeling business, he has spent time working for David Weekly as a new home builder, and with Bill Dorman Construction, building multi-million dollar custom homes. James is passionate and committed to helping people reach their full potential.
